How to Use Dating Apps to Get More Instagram Followers

Over the years, I’ve come to know many men and women who wanted to build their brands by targeting members of the opposite sex. In this realm, we’re usually talking about athletes, models, and influencers who benefit from being attractive. It’s a fact of life and a fact of apps built to showcase beautiful photos that the most attractive see the best results, so today I’d like to talk about how those users can boost their profiles even more significantly.

Most dating apps encourage integration with social media apps such as Instagram. On one hand, this helps discourage fake profiles and fake pictures. On the other hand, it makes it so that a prospective match can easily locate you on the social media app and interact with you there instead of the dating app, such as Tinder.

Those who use dating apps are usually thinking about, well, one thing. So, upon seeing an attractive person who links a social media profile, you’re likely to investigate, whether or not you end up matching with them. Especially if you don’t match, you might try a second time by hitting up the individual on Instagram or Snapchat. Hey, you never know.

The benefit of this, for the attractive user, is that by simply being present on the dating app, your account might get a lot more exposure just from the dating app. You don’t have to match with anybody, just exist on the app. Want to get creative with it? I’ve known people who have spoofed their locations to differentiate who sees their profile.

Personally, I’ve known people in the upper echelons of attractiveness who, by simply being present on dating apps and linking their social media profiles, have experienced outpourings of suitors. It can feel odd, and is dangerous when you consider that you don’t really know who any of these people are, but the truth is that everyone uses these apps. I know for a fact that (male) B-list celebrities and B-list athletes regularly find and contact members of the opposite sex using social media profiles sourced from dating apps.

Maybe you already know this, hopefully you don’t care enough! But if you’re a model or visually-appealing Instagram user, this can be a unique way to grow your following, albeit with thirsty members of the opposite sex.
